Our Story

Whittick’s Curated Goods was born from a lifelong friendship, a shared creative spirit, and a belief that beautiful things have the power to bring people together.

Founders Jimmy and Micah have been friends for most of their lives, and while their roles have evolved over the years, creativity has always been at the heart of what they do. In the early days, Micah was the analytical mind behind the business — the numbers person and strategic thinker — while Jimmy was the designer and creator, always bringing ideas to life through hands-on artistry and design.

Jimmy’s love of decorating and design began early. Growing up, his mother decorated their home for every holiday, transforming everyday spaces into something magical. That tradition left a lasting impression and sparked a lifelong passion for seasonal design, celebration, and the joy that thoughtful décor can bring into a home.

In the early 2000s, Jimmy and Micah turned that passion into a business, creating handmade wooden holiday décor and traveling the craft and holiday show circuit. They spent years designing, building, and selling pieces that would eventually find their way into homes across the country.

What made those early years special wasn’t just the sales — it was the connection. Many of the pieces they created became part of family traditions, decorations brought out year after year and sometimes passed down to the next generation. Knowing their work could become part of someone’s home and holiday memories remains one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

Like many creative businesses, Whittick’s Curated Goods has evolved over time. As trends changed and new opportunities emerged, Jimmy and Micah adapted their business while staying rooted in what they love most: creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy of bringing meaningful design into everyday spaces.

Today, the brand has expanded beyond handmade creations into thoughtful curation — sourcing beautiful materials, creative elements, and design inspiration that help both decorators and fellow creators bring their own ideas to life.

Along the way, Micah’s role has evolved as well. What began as a focus on the financial and operational side of the business has grown into a creative partnership, with both founders now contributing to the design, development, and vision behind the brand.

Beyond the products themselves, Jimmy and Micah also love sharing creativity with others. Through online live events, in-person classes, and educational content, they enjoy connecting with fellow creators and encouraging others to explore their own creative confidence.

After years of building, evolving, and diversifying their work, Whittick’s Curated Goods has grown into a full-time creative venture. The founders have always believed in developing multiple creative paths and income streams, allowing the business to grow and adapt with the changing landscape of the creative world.

At its core, Whittick’s Curated Goods is about more than selling beautiful items.

It’s about celebrating creativity, honoring traditions, and creating pieces that become part of the moments people treasure most.

Because the things we create today often become the traditions people remember tomorrow.

Our Creative Philosophy

At Whittick’s Curated Goods, creativity begins with intention. Every piece we design or curate is selected with a focus on craftsmanship, timeless seasonal décor, and the details that transform everyday spaces into something special.

From handmade wreaths and front door décor to carefully curated ribbon and craft supplies, our goal is to bring beauty, inspiration, and creativity into the homes of fellow decorators and makers.

Over the years we’ve learned that the most meaningful designs are the ones that become part of tradition — the seasonal wreath that returns each year or the creative materials that inspire someone to make something of their own.

Today, our work blends handmade design with thoughtful curation, allowing us to share both the creations we love and the supplies and inspiration that help others explore their own creativity here in the Texas Hill Country and beyond.
